Returns

You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price including return costs if your return is the result of an error on our part.
You may return a rug for change of mind reasons for a refund excluding shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee, per item purchased. We will organise return shipping for you, or you may drop off the rug to our Sydney Alexandria Warehouse. Average shipping costs are capped at $49 per item. If the fee is considerably higher, we will contact you and discuss this prior to return.

    Please also note that Kaleen Rugs accepts no responsibility for incorrectly packaged rug returns and will be unable to process refunds for rugs damaged in transit due to incorrect packaging methods. If this does occur, we may send the rug back to you plus shipping costs. 

    Rug Non-Slip Underlay is a non-refundable, so please make sure you choose the correct size when ordering.

    How do I place an order online? 

    As you browse our site, you can add the items you like to your shopping cart. When you are ready, click on your shopping cart icon and follow the instructions to complete your order. Please make sure your billing address matches that of the cardholder. We accept all the major payment methods, including Credit Card, Paypal, Applepay, Googlepay, Afterpay, Zipmoney and Humm. Afterpay, ZipMoney and Humm options to purchase are accessed at the Payment page of checkout. 
    If you're having any trouble at all, just open up our live chat box and chat live or leave us a message with return contact details to respond to. 

    Upon completing your purchase transaction, an email confirmation of your order will be sent. You will be assigned an order ID# that should be used whenever referencing your order with us. Important order updates will also be sent to the address provided. 

    Credit and Payment Privacy?

    kaleenrugs.com.au utilises advanced encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of our customer's credit card information. Every page of the checkout process is protected by a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which protects outside sources trying to access it.

    Sales Tax? 

    All products sold through Kaleenrugs.com.au within Australia include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). All international sales are GST exempt.

    How to modify or cancel an order?

    Once the order has been confirmed, you must contact our Customer Service Department to modify or cancel it. Please email kaleenrugs.au@gmail.com
    Unfortunately, once an item has been shipped/dispatched it cannot be modified or cancelled. 

    Trade Discounts? 

    Yes we do! We offer trade discounts on both standard and custom orders. Please contact us to enquire about bulk buying, government, hospitality and not-for-profit organisations.

    When will I receive my order? 

    The majority of orders within Australia are delivered within 2-5 days.

    Whats a backorder?

    Backordered items are those that our suppliers and warehouse currently do not have in stock. Although there is nothing we can do to change the backordered status of an item, we will do our best to inform you of an anticipated shipping date.

    What is the cost of shipping? 

    We offer free shipping on all rugs within Australia! Our freight partners will endeavour to deliver to your door, however there are some countries and regions we don’t have freight partners or logistical programs. If ordering from outside of Australia, please contact us to get more specific information on shipping to your country.

    How will my order be delivered? 

    Your items will be shipped from our warehouse located in Sydney, by the most reliable couriers within Australia we can find - directly to your door. 

    Do we ship internationally? 

    Unfortunately at this time we don't offer international shipping.

    Is your showroom open to visit? 

    Sorry! Since the Pandemic has hit us, for your safety and ours, kaleenrugs.com.au has now strictly become an online experience.

    Any questions, comments, or suggestions? We'd love to hear from you, drop us a line on our contact page.

    Where is your contact number? 

    As you know, we use to have a contact number available to chat with 3-4 active staff available to take your enquiries and orders during office hours. After every call, to make sure nothing was misinterpreted via conversation, we always requested an email from the customer to which our staff responded to directly.

    Over time, we have streamlined this process to email only, to create a fast and effective response to all your requests without any waiting or delays via phone call. We are now even more efficient without the call support and currently respond and return all email enquiries the same day, provided it's not sent after 3pm. If you reply after this time or after hours, you will receive a response the following business day. We also have live chat that is monitored and can be used to address quick enquiries and requests. 

    These changes, we have had overwhelmingly positive feedback. This process ensures that you are always kept in the loop of changes to your order and every request is recorded. So if a staff member is away from his/her desk on the day of your next enquiry, another supporting staff can instantly review the notes and correspond to your enquiry without delay.
